These are from our first big "snow" a few weekends ago. I was having trouble with Blogger and wasn't able to get these pictures up until now. The "sled" Larry and Aidan are using is actually a storage bin lid. ;-) We've since bought a real sled for Aidan and they used it the other day when we got some more snow. Aidan loves sledding and he isn't scared to go down the hill by himself at all!
P.S. No, I'm not having twins ;-)

Thanksgiving
Just a few shots of Aidan playing in the leaves on Thanksgiving. We were over at a friend's house and they raked up a huge pile of leaves for Aidan and Sam to jump in. They loved it!!

Coney Island-Astroland
After we left the NY Aquarium, we decided to take a peek at the famous amusement park Astroland. Astroland was already closed for the season, but we walked along the boardwalk and saw the famous ferris wheel and rollercoaster called "The Cyclone." These are actually historical landmarks now!

New York Aquarium
We found Nemo!
Since Aidan loves fish, we took him on Sunday to visit the NY Aquarium on Coney Island in Brooklyn. He loved every minute of it and saw many of his favorites, including some of the fish from Finding Nemo. He was so excited to see Nemo and kept saying "Look!! Nemo!!!"

Waves from Hurricane Noel
Saturday morning Larry got to surf Rockaway Beach in Queens. The waves were up due to Hurricane Noel passing by off the coast. It looks cold out there, right?!! Brrrrrr.........

Halloween
For Halloween, we took Aidan trick-or-treating with his friend Sam out in their neighborhood in Long Island. At first, Aidan wasn't too happy wearing his monkey costume...but then we figured out that he just didn't want to wear the monkey feet. After those came off, he was ready to go trick-or-treating! It took him a few houses to figure out what to do, but once he got the hang of it he happily ran up to every house saying "Happy Halloween"!! We can't wait for next year when he's a little older and can really get excited about it!

Manhattan Children's Museum
We spent the day in the City yesterday. We had lunch in Greenwich Village at a Mexican restaurant called "Panchito's" and then headed uptown to the Manhattan Children's Museum so Aidan could have some fun. We ended the night in Times Square, then headed home to watch the last game of the 2007 World Series. Go Red Sox!!

Apple picking
Today we drove into New York state to go apple picking. Aidan loved picking apples. I think apples are his favorite food! We picked 10 pounds worth!! When we got home we decided to make our first homemade apple pie with some of the apples we picked. It took Larry and I an hour and a half to make the pie (we made it from scratch) but it turned out delicious!
