A child grows in Brooklyn

Still trying to catch up...these are from last June. We spent the day in Brooklyn, specifically Prospect Park and Park Slope. We walked all around Prospect Park, which is Brooklyn's equivalent to Central Park. Prospect Park was given to Brooklyn by the same man who created Central Park in Manhattan. I was suprised at the elevation there was! There was a neat waterfall in the heart of the park, but unfortunately we didn't get a picture of it. We also went to the Prospect Park Zoo which of course Aidan loved. For lunch, we ate at a neat little restaurant called the Park Slope Ale House in one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn. It was yummy! We looked at a few apartments to rent in Park Slope, but we couldn't find anything with enough space for an energetic two year old and a new baby on the way. Disappointing, but we are happy where we are living in Edgewater.
