Larry found a bunch of old CD's with tons of our engagement, wedding, and honeymoon pictures on them so I thought I would post a few. These are nearly four years old. It's amazing how much our lives have changed since then! We have accomplished so much since then. We've lived in two foreign countries, had two beautiful boys, and (Larry) has almost completed an M.D. I'll try to get some more up tomorrow..for now here are a few of our engagement pictures we had taken at Atlantic Beach.

It's Official!
The boys and I will be back in Florida on May 24. Larry has to come back to NY for one more rotation, an Emergency Medicine elective ending in early July, and then he will be back in Florida also. He has the rest of the month of July and some of August off to study and sit for USMLE Step 2. He is applying for the rest of his electives in Florida, specifically Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL and Orlando Regional in Orlando. We are finally almost in the home stretch of this journey!

Easter
We had a fun Easter this year. Aidan got an Easter basket with Thomas the Train pajamas, Thomas undies (in an effort to get him excited about potty training), matchbox cars, sippy cups, and candy. Connor's basket had two rattle toys and a plush bunny. Later that day we went to Mitch and Megan's for dinner and an egg hunt. It was a good Easter, minus the sitting in traffic for 2 hours on the way home....but we know that's part of living in New York. One thing we definitely won't miss when we move back!

American Museum of Natural History
Saturday we went into the City to visit the Museum of Natural History. Larry had never been and he wanted to go at least once before we moved away from New York. It was also Connor's first trip into Manhattan. After the museum we went for a little walk in Central Park before heading home.

The Bumbo Seat
Connor is holding his head up on his own now. I am excited that I was able to get him a Bumbo seat. Aidan never had one because these came out when we were living in the Dominican Republic and we couldn't get one over there.
On a side note, Connor had his well-visit yesterday. He had to get his vaccinations, poor little guy. We had to delay them at his 2 month check-up because he had a cold. Connor weighed 14 lbs. 12 oz. Wow!!

Second cousins
My first cousin Kim came over with her two children, Tucker and Brooke, to meet Connor and play with Aidan. They had lots of fun and got along great! Hopefully we will be moving home soon so Aidan can play with them more often! I can just imagine all the mischief these three could get into ;-)
Tucker showing us his super sweet skills...
Brooke giving Aidan her "dreamy eyes"....she wanted a kiss! Hey, we're south of the Mason-Dixon line...anything goes!
Ring around the rosies with cousin Kimmie....
all fall down!!

Florida trip
Finally, a picture with all four of us, even if no one is looking at the camera...
Larry had a two week break from clinicals so we went home to Florida the first two weeks of March. It was so nice to be out of the apartment and I could actually go outside with Connor because the weather is already warm in Florida. I haven't been able to get out much here in NJ since Connor was born because it's been too cold. We had a great time, although the car ride (16+ hours each way) was pretty much torture. Hopefully we only have to do that drive once more, when we move back! Otherwise we fly from now on!
Connor discovered that he can eat his hand...
Hot Rod? Maybe.....

There's Daisy!
I just love this little guy so much!

St. Patrick's Day 2008
In honor of my two little Irish-Cuban boys...
Both of my boys have Irish names. Aidan means "fire" in Irish, and Connor means "lover of hounds." I just love their names!
